I converted a fairly simple multi-page PDF into docx using the paid ($7.99) convertor. The resulting docx file was not usable in Microsoft Word 15.14 for Mac.
If you only want to do a simple text conversion it then is doing a good job. Don’t expect a good result when you want to convert a page with graphs and graphics, 75% of those will be missing and there are no options to adjust any settings.
I converted some files to ePub without loss. the trial allows me to convert one page, layouts is good as stated, and format of the exported ePub file is very neat. some one who need to convert pdf to epub can have a try and wont be disappointed
